This survey is designed by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising for the purpose of understanding student learning, success, and completion based on academic advising. Frequently Asked Questions

No, a sample of students was selected that is representative of the student body. It is thus important that each selected student submit the survey to ensure a full, representative student view of the academic advising experience at UArizona.

Campus-wide academic advising is coordinating with an international academic advising organization, NACADA, to conduct this survey. NACADA will be sending out the survey and collecting results, while UArizona personnel will be analyzing results and implementing results-based enhancements to academic advising at UArizona.

Your individual answers won't be accessible to UArizona personnel--only aggregated (combined) results will be reviewed.

The aggregated (combined) results will be used to learn how we can enhance academic advising from the student perspective. We will be looking at and sharing our findings both in general across campus, and specifically within each college or academic unit.

Spring 2024 is the first time UArizona has conducted this survey specific to academic advising. In the future, we hope to be able to gather student feedback on advising through this survey every two years.
